Noida-Greater Noida Expressway is going to see never-before developmental activities spanning residential, commercial, as well as institutional sectors.
This developing area has all the facilities, social and commercial infrastructure, within easy reach of residents. Developers have started looking at the area as a top destination for residential and commercial projects.
Also, the recent Supreme Court verdict that settled the dispute over the allotment of plots for 14 5-Star Hotels is sure to boost development on the expressway. According to the Supreme Verdict, the Noida authority will now charge Rs 70,000 per sq. metre (earlier it was Rs 700 per sq. metre) for the allotments.
The Noida authority has plans to develop an international-standard sports complex along with other prestigious projects in the area. The forthcoming sports complex will have a multipurpose indoor stadium, an exclusive stadium for athletics, football and cricket fields, bowling alleys, and several other facilities for popular sports.
World-class 18-hole golf course over 180 acres and in Zone 3 of the expressway, in Sector 101, is also another attraction. The India Expo Mart, Noida’s answer to Delhi’s Pragati Maidan, is already operational – it is located towards the end of the Greater Noida Expressway. A knowledge park with 24 engineering and management institutes has also been proposed to be set up along the expressway.
At the Noida end of the expressway, in Sector 93, the existing landmarks are Amity University, Balak Inter College, Lotus Valley School, Logix Techno-Park and Mayoor International School.
The Noida authority also has plans for Arogya Dham, a super-specialty medical city of international standard over 50 acres, which is to come up along the expressway; the facility will also have commercial establishments, residential options for the attendants, wide roads, lush green landscape, and parks and open spaces.
Some high-end projects are going to change the residential scenario entirely.
